Steps
- 1
Open the review queue and filter by high risk, ageing, owner or workflow.
- 2
Open the matter context before approving or rejecting a point.
- 3
Record a decision reason and source reference for every approval or rejection.
- 4
Keep export locked when evidence is missing or the issue is not sufficiently supported.
- 5
Open the output workspace and use Save draft to create a new saved version. Reopen that version from matter history before review.
- 6
A different Owner, Admin or Partner reviewer must inspect the unchanged saved draft and choose Approve saved version. The author cannot approve their own output.
- 7
Download only after that exact version is approved and the remaining evidence and matter controls are clear. Editing an approved version locks download until the changes are saved and independently reviewed.
- 8
If a save or approval cannot be confirmed, check matter output history before starting another write. Do not assume an error means nothing was saved.
Checks
Approvals have a reason, reviewer and timestamp.
Rejected or unresolved high-risk items block export.
Output versions are saved in matter history.
Approval applies to the exact saved content; later rejection or loss of reviewer access blocks export.
