Troubleshoot assistant failures, slow responses and expired sessions

Diagnose assistant request errors, handle slow response pauses, refresh expired sessions and locate safe request-IDs for support.

Steps

  1. 1

For request failures or provider policy errors, follow the displayed recovery action. Ask your administrator to check Workspace administration if configuration or permission is required.

  2. 2

For slow or paused responses, wait for completion or select Cancel request. Your question stays in the box. Use Retry question only when you choose to submit it again; do not open a second request while the first is running.

  3. 3

For expired session notices or re-authentication prompts, copy your question somewhere permitted by your firm before signing in again. Questions and general answers are session-only and are not restored after a page reload.

  4. 4

When reporting persistent assistant issues, copy the request ID shown with the error. Support can also use the x-request-id response header from the browser network tab.

  5. 5

Use Copy answer or Download Markdown to retain a general answer. For a matter output, Saved appears only after its content has been read back. If a save is uncertain, use Check save status before taking further action.

  6. 6

Send the request-ID, timestamp and safe symptom description to your workspace administrator or support contact; manual retry or re-authentication is required as automated background recovery is not performed.

Checks

Retry only when eligible; unresolved failures remain support investigations even if a different request succeeds.

Support tickets contain only safe request-IDs, timestamps and high-level symptom summaries.

No raw client document bodies, email contents, secret tokens or background sends are included.
