Steps
- 1
Use general workflow questions for operational guidance such as what to chase, what to review or what output type to prepare.
- 2
Connect an approved SharePoint or OneDrive matter folder before asking for an answer based on the firm's documents.
- 3
Ask an administrator to confirm the permitted AI provider, approved source types and allowed purposes for the workspace. Private matter content stays unavailable until that policy is recorded.
- 4
Use DeepSeek for public, synthetic or other expressly approved material. A firm may instead require Azure OpenAI or another approved provider for private matter work; the selected provider and allowance are shown in workspace administration.
- 5
Keep client documents in firm-owned storage. Mike AI records source references, citations, integrity hashes, decisions, output versions and audit events rather than retaining raw document bodies by default.
- 6
Review every source-backed answer before external use; unresolved high-risk issues and missing evidence keep exports locked.
Checks
Storage setup shows a verified selected folder, DMS reference map or manual source-reference map.
Workspace administration shows the permitted provider, source classes, purposes and review policy.
Answers cite approved source references, say when the evidence is insufficient, or link back to storage setup for firm-specific results.
